It's what I'd do. Just make sure you have a backup of all the files you need...

Do u think an 8gb memory card will suffice?...

N what about itunes....

There isn't too much in the way of photos n music

It's daunting for a non-expert.....

I can't say, you could always take a look around the folders and see how big they are to get some idea.

I don't know if you need to do anything special for iTunes either... I'm sure someone here will know.

There's nothing to be daunted by, the factory resets are very straightforward - you just need to double check you've backed everything up before you start.

If I were you Bhoy, run a program called Hitman Pro...  can be found on hitmanpro.nl ..

I have used it plenty of times and does a brill job...  You are meant to pay for it but the 30 day eval is full and will do the job for you.  ie..  take malware off

My experiences of backing up itunes is that it's easy. Get a drive / pen stick that has the capacity to hold it and copy it across. Do whatever you need to do to get Windows back up and running. Once installed, FIRST copy the music back to the same location. SECONDLY download and install itunes. Installing over your existing directory puts everything back in place. All you will need to do is sign into itunes and autherise the computer.
