Walsall @ Notts County. An away trip to Juventus last night can't be the ideal prep for a game on Saturday. Players won't be used to the air travel. Less time to prepare for opposition and they might be on a bit of a come down.

Why were they playing Juve in a friendly anyway?

actually quite a cool reason;

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/09092011/58/league-notts-county-hold-juventus-stadium-opening.html

Quote
Notts County, who came away with a 1-1 draw, were chosen as the opponents for sentimental reasons as their black-and-white striped shirts inspired Juventus' choice of strip when the club decided to replace their faded pink shirts in 1903.

The Italian side - who were cash strapped back then - were given a load of Notts County shirts donated by an Englishman named John Savage. The Turin side have worn County's famous black-and-white stripes ever since, and chose to honour that century-old gesture of friendship with an invitation to the League One side to star at the inauguration of the Juventus Stadium.

Juve moved into their new stadium and invited Notts County to the opening event.  Juve adopted the Notts County strip after seeing it in 1903 (?) and changed from the pink strip they used to play in to the black and white stripes.  There has always been a 'connection' between the clubs since then.

Edit: Damn, the midget beat me to it.

Nice shout this, find 11/4 very generous and am also on the asian line in an acca. 1.5 days between a match and air travel, i think this a great bet-just wish it wasn't walsall i have to rely on!

Watched stoke play liverpool last season at home and they really did make the scousers life hell. Anything like that again and the 5/2 will look very juicy, am on same bet as above.

Not as confident as with walsall bet though as liverpool are a diff animal this year. But stoke have strengthened also and at home they really are a nightmare to play against.

Think fulham will beat blackburn on sunday pretty easily and have put them in an acca with the above asian lines. 8/11 isn't exactly a working man's price but with exciting new signings and an opponent in turmoil.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14856899.stm

Keep getting tempted to take on chelsea with sunderland at a very juicy looking 9/2, just not entirely sure where their goals will come from with gyan out.

Sunderland seem underestimated though and chelsea seem the opposite.

Might just lay the londoners at a very skinny 1.75.

This was very good thinking behind this bet.  Unlucky.
