we used to run a very successfull home game we played....

£10 stt first out can re-buy

would never advise to play cash always ends in tears.

Have to dissagree with you here Lee, although it depends who you invite. We used to run a comp followed by a bit of cash but the problem was if someone busted early they had to wait hours for their poker fix. Sometimes if we can get together in the afternoon we do play a fast tourny followed by 8/10 hours of cash.

Don't invite plonkers to your games and it will be fine.

That would explain my lack of an invite...

Thanks for all the input,  it seems that half are advising against a cash game and the other half are all for the cash game.

Well it gives me something to think about

We are all pretty good mates, so hopefully there will be no tears if we do have a cash game, but as someone mentioned as long as no plonkers are invited it should be fine!  Grin

I think the problem comes when the games get too big to be social - and that can happen with both cash and tournaments.
