Not many bluffs likely to get through on Table Deadman
Richard Shiels raises pre and is called by Mark McCluskey in the blinds
Board Q-7-5-4-10, three hearts by the river
McCluskey check calls all three streets with 3-3
Sheils shows 3-3

Mad Turk makes it 700 UTG at 100-200
H Nguyen makes it 6,000 with 27,000 back in the cut off
Folded back to Turk who says he will "raise or fold, give me a moment"
"you have Jacks?" he enquires of the taciturn Oriental Lady
He then says he notices that she is breathing heavily
He flips A-K face up and folds
So its Nguyen Win for Nguyen (one for the Vietnamese spambots)

The Badly Drawn Boy lookalike was awesome but when I read this I was hoping for an all-time classic lookalike.

Amazingly we lost two players in level one on the same hand
Tan Le with Aces on a ten high board gets Daniel Devlin with K-10 and S Najada with a flush draw to get 50,000 in
Aces hold, he is sitting on 150,000 in Level 1 and probably wants one of these for the rest of the day
Laughable play... are these people for real ?

On a board reading A-5-7-9-6, no flushes possible
Mad Turk bets 10,000 into a 13,000 pot
David Mobbs all in for over 55,000
Turk thinks, and as is his wont talks to himself and the table, talkng through the hand. He eventually puts Mobbs on 8-8 or A-8 and passes. I think I hear him say he passed Aces

I have been hovering around table Thewy but the bad one has been quiet so far
Eventually I see him raise in early position, called by GUKPT Walsall Winner Alan Mansbridge in the big blind
flop 4-J-K rainbow
check check
turn 4
Mansbridge leads for 700, Thewy calls
river 6
Mansbridge 2,000. Thewy thinks and calls
Mansbridge shows
which is good

Re late reg- what time is open to exactly? Can you reg over the phone and do you lose chips per level. I wouldn't be able to make it to Bham tomorrow until around 7pm.
Hi George,
Late reg is open until the end of the break after level 4 which will be around 5.30pm.
You can enter over the phone if you are a member of the Broadway. If you are not here at the end of level 4 we will put your stack out. You are deducted a round of blinds for each level missed so you stack will go out with 49,025 and from start of level 5 it will be played as though you are folding every hand. If you are here by 7 then you should lose around another 2 - 2.5k in blinds and antes.
If you are not a member of The Broadway then someone else can pay your buy in for you. They will need to ask for me to do that.
