Who are the final twelve?

Steve Ball 2,920,000

Unknown to me before this week, a member of the "South Shropshire Poker Club"

James Power 1,246,000

Badly Drawn Boy lookalike, local, best finish 21st in the Genting Players Championship last time round

Jim Tierney 1,183,000

From Bristol, winner of a side event at the local Gala festival last month

Aamir Masood 938,000

blonde member "muckthenuts" has impressed a lot of people who have played against him this week

Andy King 865,000

From Southend, six festival cashes in his home town in the last two years

Ash Ahmed 840,000

Walsall regular, and one of the best from that casino with a prolonged record of success in medium sized festival events going back over a decade.

James Shaw 690,000

blonde member "Shawrie85" from Leeds

Rajesh Khanna 588,000

Local player. Not a single database entry

Johnny Zaib 565,000

From Blackburn, a regular in North West festival events. Best cash for £6k in 2007

Alex Mah 539,000

2nd in a Broadway £100 in 2009, winner of a Gala side event in Liverpool in 2011

Vance Martin 454,000

218th in the recent DTD Grand Prix. Best biography entry ever

Ron Mathissen 442,000

Dutch player, a regular on this tour

Thanks for some great updates Tightend. Worth every penny!

If anyone fancy's a crack at the 6 Max in Dublin next week we have had a room cancellation. 4 nights in a twin room available for €276. Hotel is sold out otherwise.

There are over 500 players prepaid or qualified. Approx 450 of them French. It is probably the best structured 6 Max event around. Re-entries are allowed on Day 1B if you bust Day 1A making it a bit better value for the travelling player.

Luton in November is capped at 180 with local satellites starting in October.

Next chance for a crack at a Deep Stack in Dublin in February. Amazingly without advertising it yet we have nearly 50 pre-registrations already. Last year was 737 players and we expect to get more this year as we have every year so far!

/Spam

I hope you enjoy the rest of the live updates here and on the live stream. As usual good to meet more blondes that I have not met before. Especially good to meet Pav the Cat again who has the unique distinction of being the only player to lose to me in a heads up match live Smiley

Hi Daiva,

It is the 7th - 12th Feb 2012. Details here: http://www.europeandeepstackpoker.com/tournaments/euro_ds/

Main Event in Dublin is a 4 day event with a better structure than the normal tour.

Two events added for 2012:

€2500 High roller with same structure as main event. This takes place before the main. Good interest so far from players who would normally play this level of event.

€550 Omaha. Triple chance with 3 * 10k stacks. Now we are at such volume for this event we should get a decent sized field for this.

Last years numbers were:

737 in the main event
370 in the €300 Side
175 in the €200 Side
99 in the Satellite for €1000 tour packages

Hotel deals will be available in two weeks time so don't book your hotels yet!

Online satellites already on Red Hot Poker and other sites will have them soon.
