My two boys Jay (7) and Ellis (6) are doing a charity walk in aid of Help for Heroes over the Christmas period.
Effectively its 1800 feet of ascent over a 6 mile route on Salisbury Plain in the middle of winter. The hills are Battlesbury Hill (very very steep), Middle Hill and Scratchbury Hill fort. Being army barmy they'll be dressed in their uniforms and carrying backpacks (their packed lunch!).
My ex has stated on the justgiving page that they'll be climbing the hills simultaneously - obviously that's not going to happen! But that aside, this will be quite a tasty little challenge for them...
