Feck me, for someone who can spot a twonk who passed too many questions you're now doing a pretty good impression of someone who's hard of reading:

Finswimming is the only sport in this group included within the family of sports regulated by the International Olympic Committee.

Oh all right. I'm such a soft touch.

Any more objections? I want to get up to 4 up to date before we approach the massive controversy that is Question 5.

1. Name an olympic sport OR a sport recognised by the IOC that involves a lake, sea or pool of water.

The official list of sports in the Olympics are listed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_sports. This page also contains the list of IOC recognised other sports.

Answers given:

2pts
Triathalon: hector62, kinboshi
Athletics:   Sheriff Fatman, ManuelsMum

Both Sheriff Fatman and ManuelsMum have noticed that there is some water in the steeplechase.

Swimming: JK (Open Water Swimming), cambridgealex (800m butterfly)- these are two events that come under the sport Swimming in the Olympics. The Open Water Swimming is the 10k marathon swim, new for 2008.

1pts
Diving Dmorgan   1
Rowing rhinoass   1
Water Polo smashedagain 1

Modern Pentathalon DaveShoelace 1
There is a swim in the modern pentathalon, but it comes under a different sport banner in the Olympics, so it's not the same as Swimming, above.

Powerboating Tighty 1

Powerboating is not an Olympic sport, but it's governing body is recognised by the IOC.

Pass
milligan84

Fail 7pts
Fin Swimming: Longines

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fin_swimming is a sport, but it's governed by CMAS who are the Scuba Diving Governing Body, and not recognised by the IOC.

Question 4:

Name a type of Poker you can choose at the Dealer's Choice game at Dusk till Dawn (to clarify- they have a list of games on plastic plaques attached to a keyring- I want a game that is on that list.)

Now here is where it gets really controversial.

According to Tom the floorman, Hold Em isn't on the keyring, although you can play it. Also, a load of people have put No Limit Hold'em, when all the games in DC are Pot Limit. So the failtastic answers are:

3pts
milligan84, rhinoass, Sheriff Fatman   Omaha 8

1pts
cambridgealex   Stud
smashedagain   Irish
Longines   456 Omaha
JK   Stud 8

Fails 7pts
kinboshi, ManuelsMum    Holdem
DaveShoelace   No limit texas hold’em
Dmorgan   Texas Holdem
hector62   NO LIMIT HOLDEM

Pass
Tighty

Asbestos underpants on.

Wow, the internet hasn't exploded. Let's escape to 5:

5. Name a city in the UK that has at least one tram line. Not the Croydon Tramlink- I can't be bothered to work out whether any of the bits it goes through counts as a city.

Right answers as far as I'm concerned:

Manchester
Sheffield
Nottingham
Edinburgh- they're being built
Birmingham
Wolverhampton

Blackpool does have trams but isn't a city.

Super stud has a card selection at the start, ie your dealt 5 starting cards. You discard 2, put 2 down, 1 up. It then continues the same as stud 8.

Stud 8 you just get dealt 2 down 1 up. Its pretty much why nobody ever plays stud 8/stud, theyre just crap versions of super stud
