Nobel Prize for Literature

Yes this is posted on the right board.
This is announced on Thursday and Ladbrokes are running a book.
There hasn't been an Arabic winner since 1988 and the favourite at 4/1 is a Syrian poet called Adonis - the thinking being it would be seen as an indictment of the oppression currently happening in that country.
However, I like the look of Assia Djebar at 12/1. In recent years the prize has gone girl/boy/girl/boy and it's girl's turn this year. She is an Algerian author so it ticks the box of recognising the Arab Spring along with maintaining the gender balance.
I've had a cheeky score on.

Is it a biography? Otherwise, probably no interest on here

Just had a look at this and don't like there not being a 'shortlist' to work from (unlike the Booker and most other prizes). Last year would have been impossible to pick so will avoid this one. gl with ur punt!
