Update
We got a really good deal on a 2006 Ford Focus, 40k miles on the clock, got it for £3k after some haggling.
Update again:
She crashed it again this morning, sigh (Wasn't her fault this time but sigh, its fixable thankfully)

she is fine, wasnt her fault but try telling her that, a Mitzibushi warrior went straight into the back of her when she stopped behind another car
car is more than likely going to be ok, screwed a wheel up but should be ok.
