Just would like to have somewhere to keep track of my bets so far, while gathering any opinions/tips.

I know i shouldn't watch this tripe but i can't help myself!

Lost an early bet i placed on jade as she didn't make it through and lost another small wager on joe cox, so pretty meh start so far. -3 points odd.

This year really does look wide open, i've a feeling we could get a surprise/diff type of winner with all the new judges.

Apparently the twist this year doesn't involve bringing back any acts like jade that just missed out, so i think it's very important to wait for that b4 betting large at all. Any ideas what it is?

Also nobody massively stands out for me, and in that case i'd rather speculate on larger priced outsiders for now.

So i've placed the following bets for the moment:

1pt win James Michael@25-1 - Not really sure why he's such a large price, has talent and could adapt well to this format.

0.5pt win@50-1/0.5pt top 3@10-1- Sami Brookes- Really didn't understand why she didn't originally make the top 4 anyway, and the nutter pulling out could see her thrive.

0.5pt win Kitty Brookes first overs eliminated@8-1- Crap britney lookalike and average singer who has issues, yawn. 9's available-man i hate being restricted.

Am half tempted to back 2 Shoes@66s, and prob wld if i cld get each way at the price, think public will like them, and they seem like they can actually sing.

One bet i really wanted to get on was rhythmix first group eliminated@11-4 with 365-but mbn to get a bet on with them, 30p mr kay, yeah yba. I don't get this group at all.

It's def a real tricky year so mainly keeping powder dry.

As for the rest here's my thoughts so far.

Girls-Feeling janet, amelia are too short at the moment, one is vickers x 2 and the other just doesn't seem hugely likeable. Misha could be a possibilty and was tempted at 11-1 but that's gone now.

Boys- don't seem all that strong either with frankie-smoke and mirrors imo, craig looking a bit too ummm craig and marcus prob won't get enough overall support.

Overs-Johnny robinson-novelty for a while then will annoy, Jonjo-bar sobby type story he wldnt be within 100 miles of the studio.

Groups-Nu Vibe-def a one direction type band-prob will go weeks in without winning, the risk-think the lead singer is great but not sure of the group as a whole-weird decision from the fit judge.

Thoughts from all appreciated-in before-omg wtf is all this about, does any1 watch thisi/give a damn about this anymore???

Well 12 million odd lemmings do unforts, actually agree with prev statement! Smiley

the twist is every judge has to get rid of 1 act each in tomorrows show, no public vote tomorrow.

Yeah heard this myself on radio just after i'd posted the above. Meh.

Totally explains why James is 25-1 and sami is 50-1 .

Pretty sure both are their repectives judges least fave act.

Also explains why kitty is 8/9-1 to be first overs to leave and the all girl group 11/4 2 be first group out.

Good job i didn't wade in large with these bets.

Oh well if either survive i'll have some value.

And hopefully louis will see sense over kitty...yeah right.

Meh.

By all accounts, Kelly Rowland was at Jade's house at the start of the week too - so they all bringing back one each first?

Did you lay Amelia? Or back Frankie?

I backed a few at the start of the live final that all shortened up significantly.  Then the 4 got booted, and I greened-up over the weeks by selling some of them back shorter and backing one or two others.  I'd left myself short Sami, Frankie and the 4 that got booted, so Amelia would now be a net loser.  Thankfully there is enough green to just back her as well, enough to get her as a $0 result or something.

I though I was doing pretty well. Had Marcus, Craig, Mischa and The Risk as green results so was just against Devlin. Can't decide whether Amelia is a major player or a no hoper. I didn't rate her and people may have already decided who they're voting for each week but there is no obvious winner this year so she could be a contender.

Backed Devlin to go this week but maybe should have done Mischa too. Surely Kitty doesn't go in Gaga Queen week?

Too much support for Amelia. I don't want to be involved anymore so I've greened out. Small results if Craig or Mischa can win.

Amelia winning this and its not even close, pretty sure Cowell knew it before the live rounds even started too.

I agree that it looks like the show is going to be tilted in her favour.....however she apparently got 48% of the re-entry vote, which really isn't that high considering the opposition she had.

This stinks, there was still someone trying to get a bet matched on betfair on Ameliaafter week 1 @ 500.

The show is a sham these days.

There was loads matched on Amelia after she got eliminated, including £86 thats been matched @ 1000.

Nothing 'stinky' about it, ppl hope that ppl get reinstated, like theres money to be matched on the Risk & Kitty now incase a contestant pulls out.

More fool anyone who lays on these shows at big prices after ppl have been voted/gone off.
