is it worth getting a diesel if your only doing 15k a year

i dunno if the sales man is just trying to make a sale might just go to grantham instead for the diesel

the diesel is 1.7k more expensive but it is alot more economical

15K is borderline, or at least that's what I was always thought.

then again, diesel also used to be cheaper than petrol....ah the good old days.

Is it not more economical to buy one that's a few years older?

Yeah it's on the motability scheme, you can get some cars for no advance payment and some you have to pay.

Diesel car may be more expensive, but will almost certainly be worth similar % amount more at resale, so you can't just calculate based on difference between diesel and petrol - have to work out how much of the diff you'd lose over how long you keep the car, which is going to be less.
