Reckon Jack Mcdermott has a pretty good shot in shipping this.

Obv good luck to all the blondes.

Jack is chip leader with 310,000. Very kindly he counted it for me

What is Jack's poker background/ Where's he from etc?

thanks to those who know him.....

Pretty sure he is predominantly an online player, but plays a fair share of live tournaments. I've normally seen him at The International, so guessing he's from London. Not played with him a huge deal, but from what I've seen, a real good player.

A near bubble round with tighty

14    1    Reuben Marriott 80,000
14    3    Saifon Lambe 50,000
14    4    Todd Fullarton 40,000 (dead stack/player absent)
14    5    Ian Gascoigne 170,000
14    6    Andrew Hulme 210,000
14    7    Paul Romain 220,000
14    8    Simon Deadman 140,000
14    9    Paul Ratford 65,000

blinds 2-4k

Hand 1 button seat 8

Folded to Deadman on the button who makes it 8,800

the blinds pass

Hand 2 button seat 9

Folded to Deadman in the cut off makes it 8,800

All fold

Hand 3 button seat 1

Dead big blind

Folded to Deadman who makes it 8,800

Marriott on the button 3 bet to 35,000

Deadman all in

(Applying the pressure, much?)

Marriott big dwell. A big one

Tormented by this decision

Head down, head up, lean back, breathe out

Hand over mouth, switch position on the chair

Chip riffle, bang chips on felt

Seven minute dwell. I was counting. Best to know, I find

Fold

A sly smile from the watching Hulme in the direction of an impassive Deadman

Hand 4 button seat 3

Romain raises to 9,200

All fold

Hand 5 button seat 4 (dead button)

Folded to the blinds

Gascoine in the small blind 9,000

Hulme in the big blind calls

Gascoine leads for 20,000

Hulme calls

Gascoine 25,000

Hulme calls

Gascoine 35,000

Hulme asks how much Ian has left

the big denoms in the Ian stack are 80,000

Hulme all in

Instant call

Gascoine  for the rivered straight

Andrew mucks

a Hulme grimace as he has lost most of his stack to Ian G

Hand 6 button seat 5

Gascoine button raises to 16,000

All fold

Hand 7 button seat 6

Fullarton arrives after a Christening (I get all the scoops)

Fullarton all in

All fold

Hand 8 button seat 7

Gascoine opens to 12,000

Deadman 29,300 from the small blind

Gascoine calls

Deadman 31,300 lead

Gascoine passes K-Q

and then we hit a break. That took 25 minutes!
