I thought that was Sea of the Stars.

Two very different horses. Frankel is a miler, Sea the Stars 1m4f. Might have been a good race over 1m2f with more and more reason to think Frankel will stay , I´d go 4/7 Frankel.

Well what would you expect "the best horse we've ever seen" to do?

Beat older horses for a start. Nice to see Dancing brave and Sea the stars mentioned, my thoughts exactly.

Compared to the other three mentioned Katchit isn´t the GOAT, he´s a goat.

Its last 3 races have been against older horses. At the moment he has a rating of 135, the same as Sea the Stars and easily confirmed yesterday that he is at least as good as that rating.

This. I never thought I'd see a better horse than Sea the Stars in my life time...it's simply frightening how good Frankel is and lovely to see he stays in training next year.

As nice as it is to see Frankel in training next year it seems a ridiculously bad business decision to me.

Well, it's a tricky one. He would add a bit to his value if he becomes the best over a mile and a bit (1M2f maybe even 1m4?) as well.

I hate seeing horses retired when they are only 3 as they have not yet shown their full potential (Like a footie player retiring at 21'ish).
Khalid Abdullah wants everyone to know that Frankel is the best race horse in the world ever and I reckon you can only really prove that if you keep horses in training past their 2nd year. He will probably have a big international season next year (I'd expect him to go to international next year and plunder everything abroad) and, if he keeps winning, there then shouldn't be any doubt over which horse is best in the world (not that there is any now IMO). That could add a few pennies to his value. Maybe 2 runs in Brittain next year and the rest of his races abroad?

Sea The Stars commands Euro85k at stud and covered 140 mares in his first nine months or so.  Thats E12m for his first year which I suppose they could potentially make up in value as he only really needs to increase his value by 10% of so to make it wash its face as a decision but what happens if the horse breaks down?  You have lost literally £100m and if it gets beat you have lost a fair bit too.  I may be overstating it all a bit I suppose because Sea The Stars is out of Urban sea who has really proven herself as a dam whereas  don't know much about Frankels dam but even so it just seems a massive risk.
