I'm pretty sweet on Sizing Europe today and have snaffled some of the very generous-looking 2/1.

On it's official rating it's got a stone in hand here and I wouldn't be surprised to see it win comfortably with everyone left scratching their heads wondering how it was ever allowed to be such a price. It's a 5/4 shot in my book.

This horse seems to have been consistently under-rated over here, both by the bookies who appear to be trying to get it every time it runs, and by the odd hirsute German dwarf Wink

On Avenue for my 7000th bet of the day. Sizing Europe doesn't really suit my style of 'gambling'

Hopkin get over to the syndicate thread and get your run good money down.

I could have had a very good day if Linnel(7/1) and Dalkey(5/1) hadn't both come 2nd.

Still, mustn't grumble Smiley

I never got the chance to comment earlier but I really liked this bet, its a shame though when I was giving the race the once over this morning I could only find 5/4.  If I could have got any of the 2/1 that I later heard was available I'd have been ball deep on Sizing  - I don't think there are many better than him over 2 miles.

Really disappointed in Linnel myself, I really liked that one although a very good jockey I am not a fan of Carberry he seems to come on horses cruising all the time and they just never pick up, some blame the horse i blame him.

Where's gatso when we need him? Sizing was 7/4 all day long and only shortened leading up to the race.

I would have to agree with you about Carberry sometimes, but I thought he gave Linnel a fantastic ride today allowing it to recover slowly from a mistake three or four out and looking sure to win had it not ploughed through the last fence and still managing to conjure up yet another run to almost snatch the race on the line.

They appear to have backed another one in that race from 11/4 into 5/4.
