Don't know if they're being coached more but they appear to be much more astute than the buttheads who show up on the main show.

Almost like going to work trains all the good attributes out of people.

The Beeb is much more interested in making adults look like twonks.  You make a 17 year old look stupid you get a ton of complaints.  Make it a guy in his early 20's then push his self-branding confidence through the roof and film the implosion.
