2 Home tie / Home Crowd -
Won only 3 out of 7 home games since the World Cup
3 England generally play better against superior teams
Somewhat true. We usually play better against teams that want to give us a game but best teams we've beaten since Germany in a 08 have been Mexico and Croatia.
4 Will Spain be up for it ? -
Huge competition for places in their squad. Whoever plays will want to play well to try and keep a place in the team permanently. Despite not being very good I still think we're regarded as a scalp and Spain will want to beat us.
Not trying to put you off or knock your logic but just wanted to give you some extra info

Nicely done England backers.
Wish we could magically forget the result though. It's the hype that kills me.

Happy with my 3 - 1 England Draw no bet with Chandlers (commission free ofc )
as the price indicated if they play 3 more times Spain would probably win them all ,Luckily England made it happen today
Peace x

Englanders tell me how yous would feel about drawing Ireland in the groups, I'm thinking Ireland would relish it more, would have nothing to lose and would be fairly happy to draw England as a 'big gun' team, I'm not so sure England want some of Ireland , Thoughts?

Ireland would be an awful draw for us, especially given they will be seeded with some of the weaker teams who don't view the game as a derby of sorts.

I'd take Ireland. That's not being cocky but the group stage is the last 16 so there aren't many weak teams. I think your strength is in attack so you might take the game to us and that is better for us.
Reading on twitter Pot 4 is probably Denmark France Ireland and Czech. I'd probably want Czech and deffo don't want France. Pretty meh between the other 2 so I certainly wouldn't be upset if we got Ireland.

How are France in pot 4 ? what!
I'd take Denmark and Czech over Ireland.
