Horrible thing to happen to anyone, and on hearing that your burglars were later caught during an armed robbery, I'm glad you didn't hear them and get up to investigate. Looks like they were after a car to do this and just grabbed whatever else was around when they came after the keys.

I've been broken into and found it really hard to sleep for a long time afterwards, just saying you might find it can affect you for a while afterwards, even though no real damage was done.

I'm glad they've been caught and hope the insurance claims etc all go through smoothly.

Thanks Mouth. Yes very lucky I didn't disturb them. Not too worried myself just feel for the wife and kids who have been quite upset. Just angry myself and some might say grumpy.

It's pretty hard to describe how it makes you feel to anyone it hasn't happened to, I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

All done over the phone so far and am expecting house insurance forms today. Car insurance haven't even bothered asking me about it yet.
