happier jamming and being called with this than A3.

You shouldn't be.

Really standard jam Paul, especially live poker where they will have no idea how wide you are and adjust their ranges appropriately.

so atc then

Yip. Like Mulhuzz said I often do the fake look in these spots and then move my betting discs over the line.

Definite nut line to fake look jam.

Wtf you doing going of bum hunting.
Jam for me and this hand I prefer to the others mentioned when we do get a caller for obv reasons

seriously this is way off, A3o is a way better hand to jam than 43s and q7s is about 10x better than 43s for jamming here, you should be much happier witth K2o than 43s

It's a £100 comp Dave. You are playing with guys that have a very narrow range when calling shoves for more than half their stacks so close to a £150 min cash. Folding range includes two broadway cards (excluding aces) and medium pairs and they even show you this time and time again. They do not widen their calling enough for A3 to ever be in good shape.

you are not saying fold 4 3 suited afaik just as we are not saying we would ever fold A3 here. Just saying when we get called they have us dominated a huge % of the time.

Dave, in my post focus on the and being called bit, people just don't loosen their ranges, far too tight, I will find myself calling people with very marginal hands but every time i get looked up it is A10+ I see people make horriffic folds in this spot all the time. much rather have 34 sooooted than a3 or k2 as the majority of times we are abso crushed drawing to 3 outs. obv i am jamming any 2, but IF we are to get called by your avg joe £100 live grinder, i want to be holding 34 sooted as opposed to a3.

I understand what you're saying but 43s generally has pretty limitied equity when called, and obv the wider someone is calling then the worse shapes its in, suited connectors are prolly the most overrated and over played hands in >100bb nlhe, I am pretty ocnfident that vs someone who is half decent you should fold here, but in this comp I agree its a fistpump jam with almost atc.

I'm afraid they probably had too much let's-put-the-pain-on-Jason-Herbert equity to ever fold flush draws against you.

Lol. Now you've got me started James . Those are not even bad beats in my book.  I love tighty being around for the blogs and crave the attention but I can recall two deepstacks recently were I get it all in on flops holding JJ v QJ on J 9 7 and 96 (in bb limped pot) v A 10 on 10 8 7. Pretty sure even without daves numbers I was better than evens Smiley
