You were just unlucky. You did nothing wrong and if he wants to call 4bb with QJo out of position, representing a large portion of his stack, then that is his worry long term and not yours.

All you can do on that dangerous board is play it hard and fast. Unfortunately the bet and raise in front of you mean that when you push all in, his odds are now correct to play the draw anyway (not that odds mean anything if he misses, which he will twice in three and be eliminated).

Aye, you played it fine.

Playing Kings stronger before the flop might be arguable if you were a bit deeper, but if you have 12 BB in a MTT, take the gamble, let them in and looking for the double up is a good move. 4*BB is pretty much exactly what I would raise here.
