Live Tourney at local casino last night.

£35 10K Freezeout.  38 runners 8 left. money starts at 4th.

Final table has dragged on for quite a while, and the blinds are really starting to kick in now.
Blinds 4k/2K/300.
I'm near or at chip leader with approx 65K. Most people have around 40K,

UTG+1 open shoves for approx 55K
I'm next to act and find

Decision?

4k/8k + ante and still half the field to go til the money?

The fact you're cl here doesn't mean too much - we are 3bbs from avg.

Ship all day

Still a shove.

We have a lot of his range crushed/dominated and are flipping against some too.

Live players in small and medium sized buy in comps have a real tendency to open small with AA/KK/QQ so I don't expect us to be crushed an awful lot.

Exactly my thoughts, so i re-shoved.  Person behind folds  .   Villain turns over  , and of course binks.

I would get it in, but this certainly isn't as clear as ppl are making out imo.

I think your average live player isn't going to show up with as a wide range as you think here and that range will actually contain jj+ more often than you think.

I think I would sigh fold 99 for example especially with a lot of people to act behind us.

Online i agree. But live peoples are just going to 3x the top of their range here and shove lots of pairs and high cards we're in good shape against.

Rly longy!? You'd expect JJ+ a lot.

Played a ton of live poker and would expect to see a lot of opening with aa/kk/qq
