Looks like a decent effort but if that's butter I can see, that's a no no. Also, crispy bacon should have a crispy rind.

Looks like a decent effort but if that's butter I can see, that's a no no. Also, crispy bacon should have a crispy rind.

It was deliberately pan fried so its hard to get the rind crispy without burning the bacon as it doesn't cook as evenly as grilling, but I understand your point!

Yeah not doing that, I just dry fry it. Grilling is ok but it dries the bacon out, I like this way as you can scoop up all the tasty little burnt/crispy bits from the bottom of the pan, I then just simply take off any rind that isn't crispy.
