PS3 is great, I hardly ever play games on mine. Plays blu-ray, upscales normal dvds so they look better and streams from my computer to it. Apparently there was an upgrade a bit back to let it play  films too. Well worth it.

I only use my PS3 for blu ray
you can also stream internet tv (bbc/c4/itv etc) and if your are into movies you can subscribe to love film etc

seems like ps3 is the best option didnt know u can stream using the ps3,
not too fused about the games tbh but not paying to paly mugs accross the world is better then paying for it

I bet half the forum dont know what betamax is/was! nope your wrong, but i know what you mean sony made betamax whereas JVC made VHS sony make a loss on each PS3 that they sell, the reason that they do this is to get as many blueray players in peoples houses as possible and make the money back form the discs and games

i hada blue ray didnt noticed any difference between blue ray and dvd dispite having a 1080 tv got rid of the blue ray and got hold of a dvd player that holds 301 dvd at one time much better imho
