In Bulgaria at the moment!

I have been here a lot in the last few years as my parents live out here. In the main it is very cheap for food and drink, weather is good during the summer and it is pretty safe etc.

Regarding stuff to do, it isn't one of those places where there are loads of sightseeing things to do, though it is quite a scenic country. I have not been to the black sea coastal resorts which is where most tourists go in the summer, so don't know how geared up for families they are.

The food isn't spicy, mainly based around potatoes, veg and meat. They don't really do fast food, burgers, hot dogs etc. Lots of stews etc..., though Breakfast is a complete write off (Bulgarian idea of breakfast is coffee and a cigarette)

Having said that i would imagine Sunny beach caters for the British crowd and you will find English fry ups etc.

Sunny Beach is more 18-30's Lee, been twice  wouldn't go again with the kids.

LIke LOngy says though BUlgarira is dirt cheap so would give Golden Sands a try.

Benidorm would fit the bill, and not cost as much to get there. How olds the kids?

Benidorm is awful, stag do's only imo. Place is a massive crack/vice den, not safe to walk around alone late on + the ugliest place i've ever been #concretejungle.

Was there in September on  a stag do, 5 mugged out of 16 lads over 3 days  Cheesy

Been to Sunny Beach last 2 years.

Went first year, and was best holiday I have had. Second time round it wasn't, full of 18 year olds! It is a mini Ibizia, only open in the Summer so would avoid.
