This is a nice free poker diary for keeping a record of your poker. It comes with loads of useful charts and graphs etc.

I've been using it for quite a while, but there's something that I can't work out. Perhaps someone can help me.

When I'm playing say, three MTT's at the same time, I go to the 'Add new session' section. There I can input the details from one MTT. It records this as one session, whereas it's actually One tournament from a session.

Therefore, If I play three MTTs in a session and one lasted an hour, the next two hours, and the next 3 hours, the graphs and charts would add those times together and say that in 6 hours I played 3 sessions. (Which plays havoc with your win/loss per hour stats for a start.

Does anyone have the slightest idea what I'm trying to say?

Think you should just go over to your fancy Hendon Mob forum with their fancy poker diary and discuss it with them

I did consider doing that, but I thought it would be a bit rude if my only post on there for years was to ask for help in getting more from their excellent free software.

So I decided to spam it on here instead.  Smiley

Can you treat it as a single tournament and enter the total buyins/returns and the actual time spent on the comps?

Just a thought.

Yes. that's the workaround I came up with Robert, but it's a clunky solution at best and it stops you from seeing which tournament sites / formats are the most profitable / costly over a given period.

I'm sure their must be a better way.

It isn't free, but you get what you pay for right?

Theres a program called Tourney Manager thats pretty good and will do the job that you want for under half the cost of HEM
