An orbit in to a £100+10 with £50 rebuy comp in Gala Leeds. Villain hasn't really played a hand. I showed down a hero call 3 hands in, calling with a  on a  two hearts, which was good, in a smallish pot.

Both villain and I have taken our add on already, so have 20k eff.

Pre: Cutoff limps, I make it 225, at blinds 25/50, SB 3bets to 700 pretty quickly. It folds to me and i elect to call. Thoughts?

Flop
He bets 1200, i call.
Turn  two hearts
He checks, I check back
River
He checks, i bet 2100... He tank calls i win.

Fine/standard? I felt like i played it fine at the time, and that it would probably help my image a lot, especially as I'm pretty active. However, i don't feel like i won the max, and maybe this sort of line is better suited in 550 comps at DTD. I didn't want to 4b and face a tough decision/ stack of with KK vs a 45 year old man who is holding AA up to his head for everyone but me to see.

however in this specific comp vs these players you really wanna 4bet pre imo as people just never, ever fold, ever Cheesy

I played this tournament lol - how did you do?

Chipped up and then had Ben Martin on my table, was interesting watching him play every hand, and scoop. Dan Morgan (sp) also got moved and it was the break, Ben didn't come back and table broke. Moved to next table, went a bit mental.

bustout hand is a massive mistake from me. fishy active guy limps, ok active guy limps, i make it 2.6k at 400/8 and folds to utg who calls, 2nd guy snap makes it 8k. I shove, willing to do some flippies, he calls with AA. Sad Wp me, A9 no good.

Levelled myself with my image, seen as I'd cold 4balled two orbits ago, and shown down JTs to double up with a retseal after getting crippled. Obvious aces tho i guess, his snap limp put me off but i should definantly just fold to the 8k...

How about you#?

Perhaps we should just check it all the way down and pot control. If we look for value at any point and get check raised it would be terrible. Can't be too careful with Kings.

1900-2050. not expecting a 5b very often, expect live guys to just peel loads. hardly ever folding though. folded them once in a cash game 500bbs deep in a fairly obvious spot, was right but would take exceptional circumstances for me to do it again.
