You still don't really get live cash yet i think. Not betting the turn is a bit silly. You're obv def a deece thinker John, but your approach to spots isnt great. Get some thoughts from Edd, he'll know how to help you.

george and lildave already hit all the salient points, so all i'll say is that you should try to go a week of playing your hands straightforwardly and not succumbing to the temptation of fps.

Come on guys, let's give John a break. I'm sure he doesn't do stuff like this anymore...

the best ones are where the bump comes close to exactly a year, or n years, later. Nobody ever notices Cheesy

Nah, its good to see stuff like this...

I remember thinking at the time - "this guy is so fos on this flop, lets just let him 'hang himself' ott."

Then he checked back, and I felt like we 'had' to check the river.

In retrospect I now hate my river jam... but quite like a cc when I've checked turn.  Guess just a bet/ shove flop/turn line is best.

Just feel like when I do this with overpairs I only get called by better hands on these runouts.  However, having done this with AK and being called by QQ, I guess with QQ I should get called by all the overpairs some % (77+)
