i have been very active and took villian off a pot when i isolated 2 short stacks with a9
which he wasnt impressed with even after i made the nut flush
after the 5 bet can he have anything other that the 2 hands that dominate me
folding would stilll leave me with a healthy stack but i have QQ

Ok when you 4bet, what are you trying to accomplish here? When you raise in a spot like this you need to know whether you're happy 4betting to get it in vs this guy, or whether you're going to fold if he 5bets you.

If you would fold, then your decision becomes an easy flat instead. If you are happy to get it in then 4bet call. It's kind of hard to give advice on this exact spot since we should have had a plan BEFORE we made the 4bet and not end up lost now because we didn't know what the purpose was of our original bet. It's imperative in a spot like this to always have a plan.

This. You should only be 4betting QQ here if you're happy getting it in if not then flat the 3bet. 4bet/folding QQ here should not be something you ever do, call the 3bet or 4bet to 6bet jam. As played, you might get folds occasionally, and sometimes he can show up with JJ/AK so with the money already in there you probably have to get this in. Tbh, his sizing is on the big side so I don't really expect him to be light here often but with the money in there and the fact that he can have JJ/AK sometimes you probably have to go with it

with the image and history you mentionned, i think it would be a mistake to 4-bet and then fold with QQ. so i think i would just ship it in here and pray he has ak or jj, or a rare bluff

even if not, i'm still not folding. we have third toppest pair and 100bb and we already put the fourth bet in.
