^ Nothing wrong with the Flamingo mate, stayed there loads of times.

If your mum was going for the first (and perhaps only) time would you really recommend it??

Yes no question, I've stayed all over Vegas and there is nothing wrong with the place. In fact I would say its especially suited to the older crowd, my Mum specifically asked to stay there again this trip.

If it's mates then the poor mug (normally me) who has to organise the whole thing, pay for it, collect the money and drive to airport gets the single - not even a debate!

You're not getting it for 300, you are getting it for 720 m8. Your flights are 700 and the rest is per room based on 2 people sharing.

I'll be brutal here.

Right now I can't see anything better than the deal you have.

However - I wouldn't book yet for December. I'd wait. Quite simply because current direct flights are £700+ for your dates and I believe that you can get them down to £500 - £550, maybe even lower by waiting for the sales. The last flight sale only covered up to September 2012 so I assume the next one (probably April time) will cover Nov-Dec.

As for hotels - same thing. Most of the good deals for your dates won't come out for another 5-6 months. Ergo, wait.

If you need the security of booking now then do so and book the deal you have got on Expedia. If you can wait, then I would, and I think a lot of the main knowledgeable Vegas guys would agree.
