Live Update this weekend of the DTD £500 : £150,000 Guaranteed

The monthly 500 Deepstack was launched at the beginning of 2012 to replace of the signature 300 Deepstack, which had been running each month since February 2008. In its first month the 500 Deepstack attracted 433 entries generating a £216,500 prize pool and a top prize of over £61,000

With 30,000 chips, double the starting stack of its predecessor, and a 50% increase on the 300's £100K prize pool, it was understandable why it was so popular

This month, the event is up against the inaugural Genting Poker Series £400 which starts tomorrow. What effect will that have? I don't know, will be interesting to see

In the meantime, rollcall of blondes attending the DTD Deepstack please, and whether Friday or Saturday!

Tighty put the numbers already reg'd for their comp somewhere. It's very impressive George and are clearly gonna take a few away from Dtd this weekend. I reckon if they had not clashed with Dtd they may have got 150 more runners down at star city.

Impressive or not I shall be sticking with DTD. It's a shame as I probs would have played both Stoke and Star City but DTD>>>>>>>>>>>every other live cardroom in the UK

Yes I'm a big Dtd fan and thats where my loyalty lays too but competition is a good thing. I even noticed some improvements  from Grosvenor at the Gukpt in Manchester but numbers were down there too due to trying to go up against the Sky Poker tour Smiley
