It's a great picture. Love how the web shows up.
A proper macro lens is a wondrous thing. I have a 90mm Tamron that I haven't used enough yet, but at it's extreme (90mm, F2.8, 29cm object distance) the depth of field calculates out at 0.8mm!

Tom, how did you find the travelling to and from Strasbourg? It looks like a lovely city, but it seemed to be a pain to get there.
There are no direct flights from the UK, so the travelling could have been a pain, twiddling our thumbs, sitting around in airports etc. We had two choices. Be frustrated by it, or relax and enjoy it. We decided to go with option two and it was great. We read our books, watched the planes come and go, had a picnic, watched the other travellers come and go, watched the ground staff, did a quiz, ate some more, had a massage.... | Click to see full-size image. |
