My TV screen. 4 second exposures with moving camera.

Do you think tikay is ready for these yet?

I thought it was meant to be tikay who's got the photography bug? I reckon it won't be too long before you're thinking about an SLR. Great pics btw. Proper art on this diary.

Nice shots Kin, good job.
Does anyone on here own a macro lens? Keep thinking about getting one but then think I would hardly ever use it and would be a waste of money when i really need a 70-200 or something similar.

I have macro lens and really like it.  Close up stuff is my kind of thing, although I don't use it as much as I should, but I'm going to get out there again as soon as the bugs start moving.

Now I know this is going to sound really daft, but when I when I saw this photo, the main thing that struck me was what looks like the out of focus head of a little boy with a crew cut peeping over the log! laugh if you want but I can see his eyebrows and the tips of his ears and everything.

I know people are conditioned to see faces in things, so please tell me if anyone else can see it!

Or am I going mental........ idiot

Can't believe that second telly long-exposure. You should blow that up and canvas it, stuff like that sells.

I follow this guy Yuri Arcurs http://www.arcurs.com/ on Facebook, he started off with a lowly dslr and just started punting stuff on the microstock sites. Now spends millions just on studios, staff and kit. Still mostly microstock.

Well (if you're not winding me up) thank you.

The TV was the only light source in an otherwise completely dark room. and I moved the camera in about a 6ft arc, first side to side, then top to bottom to produce the cross effect.

I think the only person who would buy it might be Jo Brand. It's from her TV show 'Almost Live'.

Below is a still from the same programme taken at 1/15.  I liked the contrasting red and blue colours, so I tried two long exposures. The second one came out almost like liquid.
