Have only really now discovered this thread, and it inspired me to have a look at a few pics of recent trips. Here's a few from Holland 2011. (I don't know what's a correct amount to post, so if I'm out of line, please say.)

A couple of windmills (naturally)

Would love comments on these last three to see if people like the feel and composition

Great photos Ruud.

Love the first one particularly, it follows several rules of photography that we pros use - the rule of thirds, & the line of perspective running up the photo.

Post more please.

The first one being "get the subject in the photo"...

Absolutely love these pics. Not only great compositions but also you have somehow captured the animal's personalities.

Today I bought an OM 50mm prime lense plus adaptor for my micro 4/3rds. Will post some piccys once I get cracking!

I had an idea about trying to capture a blade of grass with ice crystals on, but then realised that would mean lying on the ground which wasn't very appealing.

So this was my compromise, primarily I'm trying to have a look at what I can do with the macro settings on my camera.

I'm hoping there's a way I can tweak it to take sharper photo's - but it did look alright I think in the wider setting
