Great pics.

Fulcrum is my fav. It looks like a Polish one, had a google and tried to figure out who that famous pilot painted on the V-fin was.

I am going with Lt. Mirosław Feric, but can't be sure.

Dammit, rookie error - always put your camera in your bag - just in case something big catches on fire.

I did my best with my phone.

Sheltered housing of sorts. No significant injuries the last I heard. I thought it looked like it could have made sense if there was a shared loft space? It used to be a hotel so it's feasible that when they converted it they just left the attic as it was.

That was why I asked, because it looked "hotel-ish" and they wouldn't have been allowed to leave the loft space open like that. If it is still housing then it makes sense, but even as social housing I would be surprised

Some incredible photos have been entered in the Royal International Air Tattoo photo competition at http://woobox.com/p7qeep

I posted my A400M photo but it looks rather ordinary amongst some of these pro images!

Any votes would be appreciated though.

I had not seen those photos Mark Sharky, magnificent!

I've been looking forward to my first "live" sighting of an A-380 in BA livery, & hope to see it at Heathrow very soon.

Virgin have got one too, I think, as of May, but if so, i've yet to see it.

The A-380 is a magnificent beast.

It is a fantastic aircraft. Unfortunately it was very cloudy for the flypast which meant that the photos were not great. Here is a shot I took of its low pass....

I have found some excellent viewing positions at Heathrow, not all publically accessible or widely known, I'll post my own pictures here as soon as I get them.
