Line check.

Late in the day in a winding down game. We're 5 handed £1-2 with the £4 mandatory straddle. Villain in the hand is a young decent player who is pretty damn aggressive and intelligent enough to use it effectively, but deffo recreational. I have a very strong read that he'll be unwilling to play for stacks light, it's late and the game is near its end so we're at the stage where people lock up their shit. He definitely views me as very aggressive in spots but so far are yet to see him get out of line vs me.

5 handed.
Eff stacks £450.

Villain limps UTG. Everyone limps along to me in the straddle. I hold JJ and make it £27.
Villain pauses for a bit then raises to £75. Everyone folds.

What and why?

well, given my passionate hate for getting limp/raised, I'm either getting it in to outdraw him, or I'm spite folding cos I don't want to give limp/raisers any money. Depends on my mood.

That the sort of advice you were after?

Thought so.

Seriously though, I'm probably not folding JJ for 100bigs 5 handed, I think I'm 4betting to £130 and calling it off to be honest.

Think you should just fold and go home. Doesn't sound like much of a game any more.
