I have been thinking of putting a staking thread up for a while now for the UKIPT at DTD between 12-16 April and following on from today's announcement of a 7 figure guarantee now is the time to go for it. Buy in as most people are aware is £770 and due to my current situation, this is beyond my limit. First prize will no doubt be in the region of 200k and I do have the belief/vision that a bink is around the corner!!!
I am looking at selling 50% at 1:1 and having 50% for good measure. Having read the recent staking thread I think this proposal ticks all the right boxes in terms of weight for and against.
So 5% = £38.50, 10% = £77 and so on.
A little about me, I have been a member of blonde for two plus years and mainly lurk in the background usually attempting a funny line here or there that usually goes a miss! Initially drawn in by the updates I began to realise the valued input of certain members in various threads. I obviously follow a few diaries and have had a little staking input here and there, this has been due to my lack of play and fancying a little interest. I must say a certain Fosters drinking Geordie came up trumps on my first foray into staking and I wore my f5 key out on that occasion.
I have only ever played away from DTD on two occasions (not including an event in Vegas I pure bubbled), so my live results are DTD orientated. The biggest comps I have played have been the deepstack in its £300 life on seven occasions, only the one cash and that was a 4th place for £6.5k, although I felt i should have won and played for the win. The £150 six times and chopped one for 4k and placed 5th in another. I have also drawn blanks in a £200 event and in last years £550 UKIPT at DTD. This apart my record at DTD in all tourneys from Nov 08 to date shoes a £17k profit, despite currently going through a £4k downswing. My volume of a late is very infrequent but I have just started to play the monthly £150 as this is in my ballpark, so on average once a month. On line my play has drawn down, I showed good profit between 2005 and 2010 on Ladbrokes although no stats are available for this period and since these have been tracked in late 2009/early 2010 my volume has been very low and my figures show a couple of grand profit, likewise on stars where I play rarely I am losing just over 1k.

I have bought into preferred day 1 (Friday - 1C) and the direct buyins on Stars looks rather tasty. I would loved to have the played the 150 next week to get my eye in, however with a couple of busy weeks at work I'll be fresh for the 200k bink!
