generally in online 6max games which are actually 4 handed I don't like trying to take people off the top of their range. People are paranoid as fuck. Something to do with all the  online players smoke

He folds AK here ~0% of the time here I'm afraid met.

Can't really see him folding 88 here either. You're just repping such a thin value range. It sucks because he barrels most of his bluffs on the turn and he can have thin value hands but I think in a lot of peoples minds its one of those 'congrats if you got there, I call' situations because its juts so hard for you to be nutted.

You rep super thin on the river given that you checked back the turn. So I don't like this move as played.

If you were out of position and so your river bet was a check-raise then I like the line a lot (as a principle anyway... I wouldn't tend to ever be in this river spot with a nutted hand oop in a 3bet pot though since I am not calling 3bets oop with hands that can make sets, straights or two pairs on this board). You can rep that you whiffed a turn check-raise. Even more plausible given history you mention.

Stack sizes of you and villain not shown (only those of the 4 players who folded are) so not sure how deep villain is, but I am assuming eff stacks of ~100bbs... so fold to the 3bet preflop. You can choose much better hands to defend your BTN raises with than small pairs.

You're almost certainly correct. Thing is though, when guys post these type of hands on 2+2 it's never after they made that disciplined fold with AK.
