Football authorities could stamp it out very easily. Any play acting or diving should carry a heavy fine and a minimum six match ban.

Never happen though - they are spineless.

Never seen a manager take a dive before.

That was really funny.

What is the point of this?
This is just a rugby fan with a chip on his shoulder cos football is so much more popular.
And he's just comparing apples to oranges.
Football is not supposed to be 'hard'. It's the beautiful game. There is an element of physicality to it but it is by no means the main element. What we appreciate is the skill, the artistry.
I assume most rugby afficionados appreciate the skill in their game over the 'hardness' of it. But if you want to compare sports that are hard, then compare rugby to similar sports that put a higher premium on physicality like American football or Gaelic football, or Aussie rules.

Agreed but the most important change football needs to make would be to reform FIFA which is monumentally corrupt and incompetent.
What things does rugby do better, do you think?

I just think the general sportsmanship/respect is better on the whole. Also rugby is not scared to try new stuff like rule changes/technology etc to improve the game, footy is soooooooooo slow in that respect.

The thing is I have never really been into footy anyway, so I'm pretty biased tbh.

Rugby is the only sport in the world when the crowd cheer a bloke kicking the ball OUT of play..

Nuff said imo.

Rugby players can kick, punch, bite even eye gouge each other.... But because they call the ref "sir" everyone thinks they are gentlemen. joke.

No they can't, they will get a very heavy penalty if they get caught. 'Everyone' thinks they are gentlemen because they mostly are compared to footballers.
