The last raffle I heard of done like this by a poker player was so conveniently won by his wife.

If that is your next idea, I hope blondepoker bans that from being facilitated through this site.

(I have no idea whether you are reputable are not fwiw and that's not an attack on you but as a site who has suffered highly from scammers this idea seems ridiculous if allowed).

What's your name? Where roughly do you live? What car do you drive? Can we have a pic of the plate on the car?

Great plate!

I might be interested, what figure did you have in mind?

Too late!

I've decided to buy 1M 4 M070N W17H N0 8R41N instead.

Paid 25k for it too.

Just need a car big enough to fit it all in.

Greekstein

Yes I do understnad that some people will abuse the nature of others and did not take your post as a personal attack.  Unlike the Camels post.
IF i was to proceed with a raffle then there are a number of ways that i can proceed with it to give it credability.
There is an option to do it through an online "raffle site" so it is regulated externally by the site, but then some people still may question the
use of such a site.  The other obvious way woud be to get the permission of a card room that was running a large enough event - to
do the draw live at the event - the draw could be made by the person representing the Hospice which the donation would be going to or
by the card room manager so that it ensures a degree of fairness across the board.

Perhaps you need to look at your life and reflect upon your lovely sense of empathy towards your fellow man.  I am not looking to sell my car registration
as a con or to make a profit.  If it is not your thing then fine, but posting pathetic insults on a forum of others is quite sad really.  If it is not your thing then you
simply dont need to read it.

If you're not looking to make a profit then why all this 'inviting offers' stuff - just tell us what you paid for it and then that's the price. If you want the buyer to give £500 to the hospice then add £500 to that price or whatever.

Because im not just going to give it away, the more that is made for the hospice the better.  If I get an offer that i think is reasonable then i will take it.
I AM NOT really that bothered about selling it as I bought it for myself anyway.
I just figured that if i could make something decent on it then it would be a nice gesture and tribute to my friend and the hospice.  If it doesnt sell then
i really am not that bothered, but im not giving it away for nothing.

We are perhaps a bit cynical because your first ever post on this forum was to try to flog something.

If you had taken the time to get to know us a little you would see that yours isn't the first poker related registration plate that has been offered for sale.

Why not tell us who you are, state your price, and tell us what percentage of the sale price will be donated to charity?

And we should believe you are doing this for charity why exactly?

You come to a forum where no one knows you and try and flog a worthless piece of tat under the guise of doing it for charity and you expect us to believe it.

Why not just sell the plate to a dealer and give the money to charity, instead of going through this rigmarole?
