Preston 1-0 down, burnt another tenner probably. Might wait until club football comes back after the WC qualifiers for next go.
Win 4-2 ...bit f a rollercoaster watching text updates.
£20 going on to bet 2

Agree, going for evens bets instead of value has been downfall I think
In fact rather than the NFL idea if I were you I would just bet £10 on the selection every time Dubai, Keith, Redarmi, Neil C or Bobby post on Tikay´s thread, obviously you need to make sure you always get the price. This way making money is, in the long run, a complete certainty, punting is more fun when you win :-)

Not all that often in games of football where we have greater knowledge than the bookies and therefore a positive expectation. We are much more likely to identify value of we don´t restrict what we bet on by a predetermined price. An even money shot is no more or less likely to represent value than a 2/1,1/2,3/1,1/3 shot etc. All you need to do to make money is consistently identify value betting from a bankroll that can stand the variance. I like this thread and the characters involved seem like a good group of fellas but the strategy is close to the opposite of how money is made and ultimately isn´t that what you all want to do?

This is a fun thread, starting at low stakes.
We are quite aware of value and variance thank you.
If you have such a perfect strategy please feel free to join us and show us how to make good money.
Only cost you a tenner and we might learn something.

I was only trying to help, I guess I misunderstood the spirit of the thread a bit, apologies for that. I´m happy to try and help where I can but out of a tenner the max would be less than < 50p and we won´t make much money like that. Very best of luck to you all, hope one of you pulls off the FTSG soon.

kukushkin
This is about spinning up from a low stake.
We don't have to pay the bills from this thread or it would be a total different ball game.
Please throw a tenner in, lets see how you do, have a bit of fun, you never knowwwwww

Woah, what's been going on here. Naysayers itt!
Clear that throat. Do you want to know how much I lost on Heskey?
Kukush, I admit Trev might have come across a bit forceful in his replies but what he says is true. It's just a bit of fun, we have a laugh and we start off with small stakes, buying stuff and trying to spin monies in a short space of time (unless you are Womble obv). Think the majority of us know these are not value bets, our bets are just chosen solely to fit a purpose. Please forget about the TK thread and grace us with your NFL knowledge. I will be including Pittsburgh in my FSTG this week.
We are a happy family around here and welcome everyone apart from those who say "nay"

What is FSTG please?
I think I am going to get involved in this thread. I work with an online bookie, nothing technical lol but I clearly haven't learnt much from the mug punters that we have because I seem to be losing more than them.
That aside, I am into the whole speculating little to accumulate money side of things so I am setting myself a bank of £100 giving me 10 attempts at a spin up.
Are there any rules to follow?

FSTG = Five steps to glory.
£10 5 bets on approx evens shots, 20,40,80,160 with target of £320 then withdraw rinse and repeat. No rules. Do what ya like.
There is also the traditional buying sh!t which has many variations the main one being all in until you get to your required sum. Read the thread from the start. Some good stuff in there.
Goooooooooooooood Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
ALL ABOARD.
