saw the players player awards are upcoming and they sent in the nominees 2 weeks ago. Thoughts on the x11?

thought robbie keane was different class when he came back, but not enough games. Yaya toure was v.good but away for most of the season. Think krul/hart is close. Also ba been poor since xmas but probably deserves a place.

I'm not sure on Ivanovic but there are just no World Class rb's in the lge. I think Modric is overrated and although Valencia has missed a decent amount of the season I think he's abs class so makes the team.

Hart should be in goal too but Krul would have to be 2nd, hes class.

meh bale is good, but not sure if hes been consistent enough to warrant a place. ba > rooney this year imo.
Carroll obv tho..
Sigurdson from swansea has been incredddd since he came to prem, baines for lb instead of enrique perhaps aswell. Phil jones > ivanovic? Also think ramires has been incred so perhaps > parker.

Hart has made a few more mistakes this season than Krul and is in a team that defends a lot less so Krul>Hart for me. I think Bale's had his most consistent season this season. Rooney is a better allround player than Ba so has to be in ahead of him.

Think I would almost put Ledley King in central defence along with Kompany. The Prem is so short of decent centre backs it's not funny. And King was immense in Tottenham's brilliant run in the middle of the season.
If you don't pick Bale, you whole opinion of the team of the season is invalid, because you obviously don't know anything about football.
He's the only British born outfield player who could get in the Barca team. (Think Hart could too probs).

I dont think valencia warrants a place tbh, hes v.v.v.vgood but hasnt played that much at all and ashley youngs form at the start of the season was as good as valencias now.
Also didnt rooney go through a 2month+ bad period?

Silva wouldn't get in above Xavi or Iniesta, he'd play alongside them. Bale on the left and Silva on the right in a 4 4 2 or 4 4 1 1. Or play Bale at left back in a 4 3 2 1 with Silva and Messi behind RVP or Ronaldo. |
