DTD just need to take over the old nightclub next door, build a walkway between them from the current smoking area. And just use it for massive events so they can field 1.5k runners with ease.

gowan Rob you know you want to :p

Treble the buyin, reduce starting stack and half the clock next time please

That's the hi roller you've described surely? This event was about getting a jokes amount of runners.

Imo bring the antes in earlier.

20k stack

50/100 100/200 100/200/25 !

Well played the winner, was on my table for 9 hours yo-yoing like a whores knickers, when I saw 14/1 being offered at the final table thought I should have a punt as I dont buy it that pros or big hitters have much of an edge late on. And so it was proved. Conincidentally the winner last year came from the same starting table as this years winner, one I shared with both winners.

Nah was messing- obviously would be a better comp but wouldn't get same amount of runners. Market speaks volumes, the fact that huge fields, slow structures and small buyins don't suit me is irrelevant- il happily donate to a well run event. Good job done all round by Dtd and the updates

Right all that remains is to wrap up.

Thank you to PokerStars and DTD for allowing me in to blog this

To the Stars bloggers and Jen for their assistance.

To everyone on here for their support. I don't intend doing 6 day updates solo again for a little while. However, it needed doing, it couldn't NOT be blogged on here, so I am pleased to have done it.

and, before I resemble Gwyneth Paltrow at the oscars...

The next blonde update will be with Caroline Cove, the DTD Grand Prix the weekend after next.

For now, thank you and Good night.

Brilliant effort Rich - well done - great read from start to finish - although some parts had me in bits.

Disappointed no pic of Ms Corens ring - I did ask for a pic just to see how big the sparkler was but realise now that it could have been misconstrued as a being asked for in a professional capacity.....

That not withstanding I guess that these updates have almost certainly spurred us all on to try and get a seat next time.

Congratulations to both in what has turned out to be a fantastic run/organised tournament but over the moon for Mr Baguley. Goes to show it isnt all about youth and aggression!!!

Final few words to go out to Richard tighty Prew. Many many thanks for the great reporting. Been with u all the way. One does appreciate the time and committment that your good self puts in!!!!
I played with the winner for most of Day2 and no he didnt have the youth, but he certainly did have the aggression.
He played fearlessly for a low stake regular and that for me was the key.
Ive only just caught up with the updates and when I saw that 14/1 quote earlier this evening I thought if only Id checked last night....grrrr!
Wd to the winner and vwd to all involved making it a superb event.
