Have been reading PHA for a while as well as posting a few hands here and there - I believe it is helping me to improve

I thought I would add an observation in that a number of hands that are being posted are being started with the comment "just moved to table" , "new player arrived", "no reads on villain" etc, etc - feel this is an area for newbies (myself included) to improve and make plays based on the player type/our reads (although they can go wrong see the last hand I posted!)

In terms of the above how do people go about making those reads (apart from the obvious in terms of table play and if so how long do you take to make those observations), live do you look up results, observations based on age, apperance, demenour

Online - Checking OPRs? (is that allowed on Stars? if No how would they check) what else can be used on online especially for Satellites (which is 50% of what I play) and MTTs where you don't often come across the same players

Also advice on dealing with Limp Callers Live after you have raised - is all down to using position, make your raises bigger and good old fasioned waiting for hands (talking about live in the £30 to £75 price range) or do you go super agro aka John Black?

I liked the second vid pleno, I decided to stop 3 betting hands like aj playing .5/1 as I normally had at least two callers even after 3 betting.
