Never flown with them before but booked a flight a few weeks ago in their sale.

Here's the problem.

I have just noticed I have put Mr on mine by mistake. I have tried to ring them but they are closed and the only number open is a premium one. We fly at 7 am tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas if they will refuse me or what they might charge me extra tomorrow?

Signed Onedumbbird.

Id budget £60 to change at airport

£60 minimum, I changed 2 tickets by name last year and it was £200. The flights were only worth £220!

If they get arsey argue smart - point out that Mr, Mrs, Ms are all honourifics and as such you are legally entitled to use any one you wish & they've no right to stop you. As long as you've your name correct & your passport No correct they can only politely usher Mr & Mr Nun onto their plane.

Is it right in law ?- I dunno - but you know for a fact that they don't.......

TBH, they should do it for free, it's an honest mistake and an obvious one.  I flew with someone else but spelt a mates name wrong when flying to Germany once but they were as good as gold about it as it was an obvious typo.  Same thing here.  Budget for it just in case but I think they'll do the logical thing and realise that Maureen isn't a Mr's name

Have a nice trip!

While I'd have some cash on me just in case, I'd be walking up with confidence and selling that there is no problem.  Show your ticket, be as polite as you always are and if they mention it show shock and amusement.

Hopefully you'll be fine.

afaik the name has to be exactly as it appears on your passport, and it's differences to that that can cause problems.  as titles aren't on there i shouldn't think it would be a problem.

edit: basically what Rod said

If you feel the need to ring them Mo, rather than use the premium rate number, try searching for an alternative, standard rate number using http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php
