Join someone on a leg of a Land Rover trip through Africa?

That interests me, got any links mate?

Or do you fancy a 10 days on the piss in Aug?  Wink

Fancy driving across one of the most dangerous countries in the world?

All touring ideas:

Spanish Mountains

French Vinyards

French/Swiss/Italian Alps

Remote Scottish Highlands

That would be stunning at this time of year.

and it's still pre-midge season...

Rod - am going back this year, EITHER @ Xmas again, which is OK, but short days & non-stop rain of course, OR September. I recall being at Loch Lomond many moons ago, & the midges were perfectly awful, quite spoiled it. Are they still a problem in September, up in the remote north west, or on the Islands, Skye, Mull, etc?

Worst away by Sept - might get a few but not too bad.

Wisbech is pretty mental during harvest time.

Or there's a WSOP circuit event in New Orleans in a couple of weeks. Sure not tempted.

Been there twice but not since the hurricane. Drank some ridic strong cocktails last time and then fell asleep during Bill Cosby's stand-up show. Think it was Bill that sent me nodding off, not the Thundermejobbies or whatever they're called.
