ZX Spectrum.....30 years today (I suddenly feel old)

Very very low-end technology by today's standards, but you don't need great graphics for great game play.

Best game?

Knight Lore imo

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

I miss the Happy Birthday threads on Blonde.

I loved doing them but felt bad for people who got few or no replies so stopped it since November-ish.

We used to have lessons on BBC computers once a week at school.  They were high tech back then.   I wrote a program once that was a currency converter that changed between two different currencies for a project, amazing times.
