Interesting chip spread there. No real big stacks through last night.

It might be an irrelevant debate anyway as there may be few enough qualifiers through that day two gets cashe anyway... Will be close assuming they are paying 15% of field
How do we know they paying 15% of field? I cant see this anywhere on their site. Has this been confirmed?

Just read the accumulator idea on the blog from a point of view from a recreational player who travels 50 miles to get there I would definitely avoid playing any tourney where a chip leader from day 1 could potentially be short stacked on day 2 because he only wants one entry and has to work where as someone else could play 6 day ones and accumulate a stack. Being relatively new to the live game I am surprised at the lack of ideas across many casinos - for example bounty hunters and tourneys where each table plays to one winner and those winners then form the next round seem good ideas. The down to one player could be a two day with the first round on day one. Why not even a champion of champions where every winner of major tourneys play each other every so many months? 1% of the pot could roll towards it. Just my twopenneth for some thing else to try - the chip leader I think is very good and should prove popular again so well done on that one.

Spoke to one of TDs on Sat and he said would be about 180 - 210 paid. It's normally about 12% of field. I am sure it must have been agreed somewhere. I guess if only 1300 entries this would reduce number paid despite being guaranteed at 2k runners

Of course . They have to pay out on number of runners played not how many they hoped to play. Heard a few interesting things at Dtd last night but one of the least interesting was that Dtd expect 500 runners on Friday. Catherine's step daughter has her graduation thurs/ Friday do hoping we leave early enough Friday to give this another bullet

Finally made day 2 last night, 4th attempt!
Good luck to all the other blondes playing this.
What percentage of the field do they pay in 1500 runner tournaments?
Looks like ~12% of runners are making it through each night.

Just coming to the end of level 14 and the break and chip race colour up. Adrian wants me to buy up all the greys and I say to him "hope this table breaks and I move to A table were they think I am an aggro nut with all the antes. Got my move of the table alright. Just with no chips Hot of the press wife is letting me have another bullet today wiiiiiiiii

Cant see them implementin this, like u say not fair on those who only play 1 bullet. Might b worth considering allowin players to enter as many day 1s as they like but can only carry forward their biggest chip stack. Just a thought......

I've emailed Rob Yong direct, but in essence this is wrong! My only concession to the issue of shortstacks would be to allow those with less than say 8BBs to sacrifice their stack and re-enter. Can't allow people to play with the safety net of already being through.
