Hate playing out of position here yet the guy only ever pots big hands from my HH against him.
The question is, do we re-pot? small raise (if he's got any AAxx s type hand he'll be likely to re-pot himself anyway)? flat (really hate this oop but it stops an inflated pot and having to fold to bricks, but then how do we get the max post flop)?

I think we are deep enough to 5 bet fold to someone that's so poor they would only 5bet aces, against a decent player i would get it in, if I was against someone that is likely only to 5 bet aces I would actually flat and play oop I like the hand but don't think putting 140 more in after the 4bet if 20 against someone who only ever has aces is good odds

I meant 4 bet in opening line, its player dependant, against a decent player who can 3 bet and 5 bet with a big range its easy 4 bet and get it in, but against certain players who would only 5 bet aces you have to try other ways of playing hand, flitting 3 bet hitting flip and getting him to barrel his aces is one such play

pot 4bet imo to $28.50 I think it will be, if he repots it'll be $78 I think? In which case he almost certainly has AA, so the shrewdest move imo, would be to flat here then if the flop is really gross we can chk.fold.

Pot will be $157.50 OTF and there will be like $82~ back in stacks so we really dont need very much at all to stack off, anything open ended straight draw+ also a gut-shot and 2BD FD's prolly just about enough if the gut shot include a TEN.

Also never fold this hand preflop unless it's you've 7bet and the 8bet require you to risk the life of a small child/loved one. the reason we can't 4bet fold is that once we 4bet and he 5bets we are calling $50 into a pot of $150~

Player,Equity,Wins Hi,Ties Hi
AhKhQdJd,   34.5775%,34.1485%,0.8582%
AA**,          65.4225%,64.9934%,0.8582%

Plus the implied odds should we hit our flop - we will be calling $82 to win $321.50 (assuming ofc he never folds, which is safe enough) so we need 25% equity to call off OTF.

Which as you we will have 60%~ of the time.

Easy!

I really dont like calling off my stack in 2 easy bites here, basically unless flop is low and you don't get some sort of draw you are going to call his flop bet hitting a pair will be massive for you and the odds , against a fish i don't mind playing oopwith big hands and keeping the pot down till I like a board, against a good player I am getting this in pre all day long

I know some really good players who have tight as you can be 3/5bet ranges I also know some sicko's who'd Id be fistpump 4b/6bing AKJ9ds vs for 180bigs.

The quality of the player is irrelevant, it's all about how you perceive his 3 or 5bets, if he is very tight you might just wanna call the 3bet, if he's loose DEFO 4bet etc.

Flatting the 3bet is fine too btw. Not saying it is better than 4betting. Just saying.
