Flatting the 3bet is fine too btw. Not saying it is better than 4betting. Just saying.

absolutely and a completely legit and probably favorable option in many circumstances.

Basically just don't fold pre-flop and you've done ok.

against a good player I am getting this in pre all day long

I know some really good players who have tight as you can be 3/5bet ranges I also know some sicko's who'd Id be fistpump 4b/6bing AKJ9ds vs for 180bigs.

The quality of the player is irrelevant, it's all about how you perceive his 3 or 5bets, if he is very tight you might just wanna call the 3bet, if he's loose DEFO 4bet etc.

yeah my wording was wrong with fish and decent player my op did say reads on player  basically there are some players espically at the lower levels i play that would only ever 3,4 or 5 bet with aces and there are others that will ship it in hands that we could dominate i think its player dependant if i flat or 4bet
