Keith, you got any photos of your house - because I'm a nosey bastard? Cheesy

I haven't at the moment I'm afraid.

They are all on the old computer, which is "poorly".

I'll try to rustle some up before I go to Vegas.

Oh, and good luck in Vegas.

You'll be alright.

About time you changed your username. You're the oldest "junior" I know.

Best of luck in Vegas Keith and I'm sure everyone is shouting for you.

This diary already has the feel of Rob's epic WSOP diary from several years back and very much looking forward to living it.

What's your strategy for choosing which events you'll play?

Not sure I should reveal my strategy.

But I will.

Basically, over the years I have accumulated a shedload of Virgin airmiles.

Had nearly 500,000 at one point. (although managed to use 200k on an upper class trip to Oz and another 100k going to NY)

Problem is, you could virtually never use airmiles for Upper Class flights to Vegas. There are so few seats, they normally don't need to fill them up with peeps on freebies.

However, around Christmas times, I saw they had opened up some dates for Upper to Vegas in May and June.

Despite checking every bloody day, the WSOP steadfastly refused to put up the schedule.

I knew these seats would go quickly, so eventually I gave up waiting.. I assumed Royal Ascot wouldn't change their dates and I definitely wanted to be home before then.

So June 1st for two weeks seemed to work perfectly. (Except I'm missing the Oaks and Derby for the first time in about 30 years! FML)

And when they finally published the schedule, I picked every tournament with "holdem" in the title and decided to play those.

Because I'm rubbish at everything else.

It was really weird Scotty and Men the Master randomly showing up for a Vic tournament wasn't it?

We showed em!

I remember "Menski" turning up to the Vic to play the European 7-Card Stud Championship. I just spent a while searching the result.

Action Dave was very excited to be playing on his table where he found himself sitting next to "The Master".

Being Action Dave he couldn't resist asking him "How are you going to get on over here without all your mates to help you?".

Men looked a little shocked and then he replied:

"I guess I'll have to win one straight".

 I think they chopped it.

how much do you currently play online? I saw you playing some mtts this Sunday.

How do you exploit your image "old man Tongue" in live tournaments vs young guys? Any fun hhs?

There was another one apart from the Marchese interchange.

Was playing a 6max tournie at the WSOP last year.

Guy raised in the cutoff and I callled on the button.

Flop came very cordinated and he cbet.

I missed the flop but called.

It came a very dangerous card on the turn and he chaked. I potted it and he passed.

His mate pipes up "he floated that flop, and took it off you on the turn".

I feigned looking puzzled. "What does floated mean?"

"Cmon man, of course you know"

"Nope. I don't think I've come across that word in a poker sense"

It ends up the two guys bet $500 with each other as to whether I knew what floated meant! Cheesy
