The first player out is Paul Cohen.

He did a 30k stack in 2 hands, firstly folding A-Q (his word) on a A-6-8-6 board when David Gentry set him in. Gentry showed an Ace.

Next hand he got it all in with a massive OESD + FD on the turn, but missed.

127 in, 126 left.

Still over 100 short for the overlay and that means...

VALUE!

A tall stranger in a grey suit entered the room, his face seemed strangely familiar, needing to know more Joobie enquired.... "is that tea or coffee?"

A Round with sharplea - Table 34

34   1   Gary Morgan - 28k
34   2   Peter Haslam - 30k
34   3   Sean Robertson - 25k
34   4   Mark Mccluskey - 31k
34   5   Alan Mcbride - 28k
34   6   Carl Fitzpatrick - 33k
34   7   Albert Sapiano - 27k
34   8   Ian Gascoigne - 34k
34   9   Colburn Tomlin - 34k

Hand 1 - Button Seat 1

McCluskey min-raises to 200 UTG. All bar McBride, Gascoigne and Morgan call!

Flop:

Checked to McCluskey who bets 450. Sapiano and Haslam the only callers.

Turn: Two Clubs

Haslam check-raises McCluskey's 850 to 2175. McCluskey calls as Sapiano folds to the original 850.

River:

Haslam bets 4625 and McCluskey quickly folds. Amazingly enough, Rastafish hasn't said a word yet!

Hand 2

McBride folds UTG. Fitzpatrick raises to 250 UTG+1. Everyone else calls, obviously. It's only a £500 comp after all! Oh, hold on, Gascoigne folded...

Flop:

All check!!

Turn:

Checked round to Morgan who bets 450. Naturally, everyone calls. Except McCluskey!

River:

Rasta finally speaks, cheekily saying "Can I nick it from here?" Nope Rasta, you can't cos Albert has bet 2300. Robertson calls only to see that Sapiano has rivered a set -

Hand 3

Blinds are now 100/200.

Albert limps. (I'll be CTRL+V this...)

Ian makes it 750. McCluskey and Albert call.

Flop:

Albert bets 750. Gascoigne flicks the call in. McCluskey meekly check-folds.

Turn:

Albert checks, Ian nonchalantly bets two greens and a black (2100). Albert folds faster than an Origami expert.

Hand 4

Albert limps (good old CTRL+V)

Morgan this time punishes the limper - 775 to go. Robertson calls and naturally Albert calls.

Flop: three clubs

Morgan bets 1600, Robertson calls, Albert folds.

Turn:

Morgan fires again - 3600. Robertson just calls!

River:

Morgan empties the clip - 5k this time. Again, Robertson calls!

Morgan has but it's somehow not enough - Robertson surprisingly had !

Hand 5

It's Albert's big blind...so naturally Rasta, Robertson, McBride and Fitzpatrick all limp. Albert checks.

Flop:

Checked round to Robertson who bets 325 into a 1k pot...and everyone folds.

Hand 6

Folded to BTN Fitzpatrick, who limps. Albert makes up and Ian checks.

Flop:

Albert donk-leads 500. It's easily enough, ldo.

Hand 7

Robertson limps. Yes, limps.

McCluskey makes it 525. Rasta pipes up with "oi, on my BB?!" and folds. McBride called and then Robertson obv calls.

Flop:

McCluskey bets 950 when checked to. It's enough, natch.

Hand 8

Albert can't limp this time - he's not here...

Robertson raises to 450. Morgan calls.

They check down a Two Clubs board and Robertson bets 700 on the river. Morgan makes a crying call and is shown for his troubles!

Rasta wasn't happy about Robertson raising with that on his SB! Wink

Hand 9

Folded to Rasta on the button who...folds?!

OK, so SB Morgan raises to 500 and BB Haslam calls.

Flop:

Morgan check-calls 500 from Haslam. They then check the turn and two spades river. Haslam's is good!

As I type this, Ali Mallu is at the cash desk re-entering. Andrew Symeou appears to have been the beneficiary...

Jamie Sykes just got a gift!

He bet 2k when checked to on a board, only to see Robert Charlton (no, not that one) check-raise all in for 17,725.

Sykes wasn't happy, asking him "Did you bring enough money to rebuy? I did!" before calling with .

Obviously, Jamie's Nit Tendencies must precede him - Charlton only had !

Turn and river were the biggest of all bricks two spades and respectively...Sykes now over 50k and Charlton hopefully heading for the cash desk!
